Bombers Fall to McKinney in Marathon

BRYAN- The Brazos Valley Bombers got a double-dose of bad news Friday night in McKinney.

First, the Bomb Squad lost to the Marshals in the Texas Collegiate League opener, 3-2.

Even more painful, the game lasted 16 innings and took about four-and-a-half hours to complete.

McKinney's Nico Taylor, a Texas State Bobcat during the college season, drove in the game-winning run with a single in the bottom of the 16th frame.

The Bombers visit Coppell Saturday at 7:05pm.
