BRYAN -- The Brazos Valley Bombers will get a couple of days off before heading to McKinney to take on the Marshals starting Sunday evening.
With a five team league, the Bombers are the odd team out Friday and Saturday and won't step back on the field until June 28.
The time off doesn't come at an ideal time for the Bombers who have won three in a row including last night's 8-2 win over the first place East Texas PumpJacks.
The win has propelled the Bombers into second place in the Texas Collegiate League standings, a half game behind East Texas.
The Bombers next game at the Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark will be Wednesday July 1 when they will host the McKinney Marshals at 7:05.
