The Brazos Valley Bombers bid to win consecutive games over first-place Victoria was cut short as the game tonight was postponed due to thunderstorms. Victoria was leading 2-0 in the second inning, but lightning and heavy rain in the area caused officials to postpone the game.

The Bombers’ six game road swing will continue tomorrow in McKinney with the Bombers traveling to play the Marshals. The Bombers will try to improve to 17-14 on the season against the 10-20 Marshals.

The Bombers will have Jake Liedka on the mound tomorrow and Drew Flaniken Sunday as they attempt to move closer to clinching a playoff spot.
