BRYAN -- The Brazos Valley Bombers were joined by members of several local non-profit organizations for Charity Night yesterday as the team took on the East Texas Pump Jacks at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark. The attendance of these organizations was made possible through the generous donations of over 30 sponsors from around the Bryan-College Station area.

The Charity Night gave children and adults alike an opportunity to enjoy the festivities surrounding the game. In addition to the baseball action, there were contests in-between innings, included an Air Guitar Contest to give away a free Nintendo Wii.

The organizations and sponsors in attendance contributed to the largest Sunday crowd in Bombers history, with the official attendance for the night being 1,249. After the game, the kids made some memories that will last for a lifetime as they had an opportunity to play catch with the Bombers’ players.

The Bombers would like to thank all of the organizations and sponsors who made the night possible.
