Bombers Lose Game, Gain Playoff Berth

VICTORIA- The Brazos Valley Bombers dropped their sixth consecutive Texas Collegiate League decision Saturday night but still qualified for the playoffs.

Shortly before suffering a 5-to-2 loss to the Generals in Victoria, the bomb squad learned that the defending TCL champs, the McKinney Marshals, had lost to the East Texas PumpJacks, 7-to-3.

That drops McKinney out of the playoffs and makes the Bombers the fourth seed.

They will host Victoria Sunday at the Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark.

First pitch is 7:05pm.
