BRYAN -- The Brazos Valley Bombers rallied from three runs down in the seventh inning to defeat the East Texas PumpJacks 6-5 in front of 1,108 fans at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark.
The Bombers (16-9) needed a win and a Victoria Generals loss to clinch the TCL first half title, but the Generals (14-7) were rained out and have the better record.
Brazos Valley trailed 5-3 in the seventh until Wes Patterson's bases clearing double put them up for good.
Patterson, Greg Olson, and Rodarrick Jones each had three hits for the Bombers, who are off until Wednesday when they host the Alexandria Aces.
The TCL All-Star game will be played Monday night in Victoria.
