For the second consecutive year, the Brazos Valley Bombers return from Summer Ball Conference as proud award-winners. The team received the “Best Ticket Sales Campaign” award at the Summer Baseball Conference ‘11 Awards Gala Presented by Baseball America over the weekend in Nashville, TN. The Bombers had a season-long campaign of bobbleheads including Angry Birds, Texas A&M women’s basketball head coach Gary Blair, TexAgs front man Billy Liucci, and Candy 95 personality Alli.

"Nine innings of affordable family fun - it all goes back to that,” said Bombers’ General Manager Chris Clark. “BobbleMania was just the beginning this past summer of some amazing promotions that are in line to be rolled out. Look for the Bombers to take our slogan "Where FUN Happens" to the next level in 2012 and I invite you all out to Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark on Opening Night to set the tone for another award-winning summer."

The award recognition is a great culmination to the most successful Bombers season to date.

The Bombers are planning for another big season in 2012; plans are being finalized for an opening night that will keep you wanting to come back all summer long. Season and Group tickets, mini plans and hospitality packages are available by calling the Bombers at (979)-779-PLAY or by emailing richard@bvbombers.com
