The Bombers came to play Monday night, as they beat the Victoria Generals like a drum to the tune of an 8-3 win. The win was the team's second straight over the defending champion Generals, and the team has scored 23 runs in their last three games. Also in the ballpark, fans were treated to guest appearances from TV stars Rico and Raini Rodgriguez, and the first Monday Feast of the season, with 50 cent hot dogs, peanuts, and popcorn.

The Bombers were led by the top of the batting order, as the team's first four hitters combined for all but one of the team's hits. Particularly impressive tonight was center fielder Greg Olson from Sam Houston State, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances, with three singles and a pair of walks. The team was also impressive on the mound, as starting pitcher Michael Hilliard, also from Sam Houston State, carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning, while Logan Burch and Damian Rivera held the Generals scoreless in relief. Hilliard was credited with the win, while Rivera recorded a save on the evening.

The win kicks off an exciting week for the Bombers, who play tomorrow night at Shipwreck Grill's Pirate Night at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark. On Wednesday the team will head to Coppell to take on the Copperheads, before returning home on Friday night for a weekend series with the Alexandria Aces. Friday night is Auction Night at the ballpark, and will offer fans the chance to bid on game-worn jerseys from their favorite Bombers. Saturday's game will be Bark in the Park night, as well as the first Kids Free Saturday, where kids and dogs will get in FREE, and kids will enjoy free food and tickets for the UPA Kids Zone at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark.
