BRYAN, Texas -- The Bombers seemed as if they couldn't be stopped in the 4th, but the Pump Jacks regrouped late taking the game 16-7.
East Texas started out strong, earning two right out of the gate in the top of the first., followed by two more in the top of the third. The Bombers remained quiet until the bottom of the third, when they were able to get on the board after a double from Graham McIntyre and a sacrifice fly from Mason Randolph. After three innings of play the Bombers trailed the Pump Jacks 4-1.
The fourth inning brought an explosive comeback from the Bombers, who brought in six runs to take the lead. G.R. Hinsley started things off with a single, followed by a single from Blake Kopetsky. Next, Hunter Melton came to the plate and slammed a double that brought in Hinsley to start off the run rally. Randolph and Ford Moore both earned bases on singles, loading the bases for Patrick McLendon to bring in McIntyre on a sacrifice fly.
