Marshals End Bomber's Win Streak in Rout

Updated: 07/12/2008 - BRYAN, TX - After storming into second place with a week of nearly flawless baseball, the Bombers struggled mightily in the field and lost to the McKinney Marshals 12-3. The Bombers made six errors and left the bases loaded twice in the loss. With the game out of reach, head coaches Brent Alumbaugh and Jim Gatewood decided to call the game after seven innings to avoid any injuries. 500 lucky Bombers fans went home with T-Shirts, courtesy of Brazos Valley Bank’s Saturday Giveaway.

He instantly became a fan favorite as he put his athleticism, hustle, and experience on display. After enjoying the best season of his college career last spring at Sam Houston State, he was selected in the 29th round of the Major League Draft by the Detroit Tigers. Earlier this week he took another step toward his goal of playing in the Major Leagues as he was called up to the Tigers Class A West Michigan Whitecaps.
