Levi Saenz went the distance for the Bombers, holding the Aces to three hits over eight innings of work but is on the hook for a tough loss, due to an unearned run. The lefty used only 74 pitches in a game that lasted two hours and twenty minutes.

Eastman worked seven impressive innings, giving up only one earned run. Saenz closed out the game, working a flawless ninth inning and picking up the teams’ first save of the season.

The first of the players added is New Mexico Junior College pitcher Levi Saenz. In his second season with the Thunderbirds, the Andrews, Texas, native led the team in starts, innings pitched, and earned run average.
