Allison is the Co-Captain of the volleyball and basketball teams; shes also a member of the track team. Allison was a State Semi-finalist, All State, All State Academics in volleyball. In basketball, she was Co-Offensive MVP of the district, All Brazos Valley, All Brazos Valley Academic and a State Semi-Finalist. She's the senior class president, a member of FCA, the Spanish Club, FCCLA, and the Yearbook staff. Allison also devotes many hours to charities and her church.

“I have known Allison for about three years. She's very conscientious about her work inside the classroom, as well as o the court. I can always depend on her to go above and beyond. Doing the very best she can on everything, whether it be a simple practice quiz, to a test, to a disection, and to whatever we have. And she's reliable, she's dependable, and she's fun to have in class.”

“Well Allie's the valedictorian, number one in her class. She works extremely hard in the classroom for her grades. That corresponds out her on the court, because she puts forth a lot of effort. She was a leader and Co-Captain in volleyball and basketball both. We do a lot of running and lifting, and she's always one of the first ones to finish. And she leads by example, has a great attitude, has great discipline and determination.”

“I'm Allison Carrigan I go to Leon High School. I'm 17 years old, I play basketball, volleyball, run track, and I participate in UIL events.” “Being a scholar athlete is difficult at times, it's rewarding at times. But usually, it's mostly fun, you got to do a whole lot more. The only hard thing is sometimes classes...You have a lot of work on game nights or you have tests the next morning. You'll be out to about midnight or so, but all in all it's rewarding.”

Allison plans on attending the University of Texas at Tyler and majoring in Pre-med.

Congratulations to Allison Carrigan of Leon High School!
