“Carlee’s a top student, she’s at the top of her class. She always does the best she can and gives a hundred percent in everything she does. I’ve had the honor of teaching her four different times from her seventh grade year to her senior year. And she’s always been one of the best student’s I’ve had in class.”
“Carlee is an outstanding student and athlete. She’s been playing tennis all four years. She’s been selected as one of our captains. If I’m late to practice or I can’t make it here, or doing something else. She’s one of the captains that that runs practice and does a great job being a leader. The kids look up to her, respect her. She’s also an outstanding volleyball player and she uses that experience to help her in tennis as well.”
“I’m a senior at Centerville High School and I play volleyball and tennis. And I’m also involved in FCC, FCS, UIL, and NHS.” “Being a scholar athlete is very difficult at times, but it’s also rewarding. Sometimes we’re out late on game nights when we have attest or we have homework due that day. So you have to really keep up with your stuff and stay together and keep your grades up.”
Carlee plans on attending Sam Houston State University, and majoring in Accounting.
Congratulations to Carlee McEachern of Centerville High School! This week’s News 3 Sports Classroom Champion!
