Hannah Kovar - Classroom Champion

Finally, It's time to crown another Classroom Champion and for this week's honor we head to Snook High School and congratulate Hannah Kovar.

Hannah is taking duel credit courses, is a member of S-P-J-S-T, One Act Play and Brethren Youth Fellowship. She is always a member of the F-F-A, 4-H and was named the 2010 Burleson County Fair Queen.

"She has the self discipline, maturity and security of herself, who she is and what she's going to do, and is able to make intellegent, adult decisions and she does a very good job with all of her responisbilities."

Athletically, Hannah plays basketball, softball, was the volleyball team captain and a Bluejay cheerleader.

"Hannah's been in athletics for four years. She's really showed a tremendous of discipline and dedication. I definitely think that's going to carry over to her future and I believe she'll be very discilined and dedicated to whatever she does, especially in her college future. Her leadership, her work ethic is definitely something that the rest of the girls pick up and I think they respect that and learn from it.

"It makes me feel a part of something. I know being a part of a team is always what I've liked and I love sports, so it just keeps me motivated. I'm the only senior on this team, so it gives me the responsibility to be a leader and help the freshman. We have more underclassmen, than upper, I just know that I need to help all of them equally.

Hannah plans on attending Texas A&M University in the fall.

Congratulations to Hannah Kovar of Snook High School. This week's News 3 Sports Classroom Champion.
