Ryan ReKieta - Classroom Champion

Finally it's time to crown another classroom champion and for this week's honor we head to Bremond High School to congratulate Ryan ReKieta.

Ryan is the sudent council vice president, treasurer of the national honor society, and a member of FCA and CYM. He was an FFA student advisor, participated in the Robertson County Fair and assists the elderly at Bremond Nursing Home.

"He is going to be successful in his carreer choice because he has the ambition, the motivation and the social abilities to get what he wants and to take others along with him. He's an awesome student athlete and we can't ask for a better student at Bremond High School than Ryan."

Ryan is a four year letterman in football, basketball, and baseball. He received All State Shortstop Honorable Mention his sophmore year and has received numerous All Brazos Valley and All District honors in all three sports.

"Ryan is a great player for us. He's been playing since his sophmore year, probably his freshman year also, and has gotten a lot of experience. He's a leader for us. He's a point guard so he carries a lot of the weight for our team on his shoulders. He's always a hustler, plays great defense and just does a lot for our basketball team."

"Having competition from my fellow classsmates and fellow teammates, it kinda carries over and it comes from my parents...the will to do good and the will to do right. You may not always be the smartest, but with the will to win and the will to do good, you can always succeed."

Codie plans on attending the university of texas and majoring in Pharmacy.

Congratulations to Ryan Rekieta of Bremond High School. This week's News 3 Sports Classroom Champion.
