The Texas A&M Aggies took a 5-0 halftime lead and rolled to a 7-2 win over the Arizona Wildcats in an NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Championship second round match at Ellis Field on Friday evening.

SHSU Football Kickoff Moved To 12:30 PM

Kickoff for the Saturday, November 22 football game between Sam Houston State and Central Arkansas has been changed to 12:30 p.m. due to the threat of inclement weather in southeast Texas.

Kats fall 65-48 to Wiley College

Taylor Dorsey and Shernise Robertson each scored 13 points but the Sam Houston women’s basketball team fell 65-48 to Wiley College Friday at the annual “Pack the House” game.

Temple College scores first 15 points of the game in Blinn loss

Temple College women’s basketball came out scoring the first 15 points of the game and Blinn was still able to make a game of it in the end but fell in Temple 71-68 on Nov. 19. Blinn College had their chance to tie the game in the end with a 3-pointer but a turnover on the final possession proved costly and Temple was able to hang on. The Buccaneers trailed 34-27 at the half. Katelynn Johnson led the Buccaneers with 18 points as she hit four shots from behind the arc. Moe Bedford had 13 points and Shakera Barnes had 13 points for Blinn with the help of two 3-pointers.

Blinn Volleyball To Be Streamed Live NJCAA.TV

The Blinn College volleyball team has arrived in Casper, Wyo., and is preparing to defend their national title. The 36-1 Buccaneers are ranked as the No. 2 seed in the tournament and are slated to face No. 15 seed Hutchinson (Kansas) Community College on Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. at the Casper Events Center. The Blinn match and all matches will be streamed live by NJCAA TV.

Boykin, No. 6 TCU win 41-20 over No. 9 Kansas St

Trevone Boykin ran for 123 yards and three touchdowns and threw for another score, leading No. 6 TCU to a 41-20 victory over No. 9 Kansas State on Saturday night that had huge Big 12 title and playoff implications.
