BRYAN, Texas -- Sunday the Junior PGA Golf Championship will tee things up at Miramont Country Club in Bryan.
The Tournament will bring the best young golfers in the Country to Bryan/College Station to not only experience a challenging golf course in Miramont, but also everything Aggieland has to offer.
"We're really excited to have it," said Miramont C.C. Director of Golf Brad Lardon. "I think it's going to be something that is great for the community and we've got it for the next couple of years. So with the communities support and the PGA's support we're hoping to put on the great show and really treat these young juniors and the PGA players of tomorrow, really treat them super good and make their experience great here in the Brazos Valley."
There is still a need for volunteers. Everything from help with check-in, leader boards, marshals & spotters, parking and refreshments.
To sign up go to www.juniorpgachampionship.com and the web site will guide you through the volunteer process.
If you volunteer at least 16 hours during the tournament you'll have an opportunity to play a round of golf at Miramont at a later date.
