NEW YORK (AP) - Michigan has kept the number-two spot in the latest Associated Press college football poll following yesterday's 42-to-39 loss to top-ranked Ohio State. The Buckeyes picked up all 65 first-place votes. They improved to 12-and-0 while handing the Wolverines their only loss of the year. Southern Cal beat Cal yesterday to supplant Florida as the number-three team. The Gators are fourth, followed by Arkansas, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Louisville L-S-U and Wisconsin. Texas holds onto the eleventh spot, ahead of Boise State, Oklahoma, Auburn and Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights fell eight spots with last night's loss at Cincinnati, which ended Rutgers' bid for an unbeaten season and a possible B-C-S title shot. Georgia Tech is 16th, followed by Virginia Tech, Boston College, Tennessee and Wake Forest. Brigham Young, California, Nebraska, Clemson and Hawaii round out the top-25.
