Longhorns Have No Problem With Sam Houston State
No. 25 Texas 84, Sam Houston St. 56
Reporter: Associated Press

AUSTIN -- Tiffany Jackson had her fourth straight double-double to lead Number 25 Texas to a lopsided 84-to-56 win over Sam Houston State tonight in Austin.

Jackson had 14 points and 14 rebounds. Erika Arriaran scored a
career-high 20 points and Katrina Robinson and Ashley Lindsey each
added 10 points for Texas (4-1).

Erica Parker led the Bearkats (2-2) with 12 points. But Sam
Houston State couldn't do anything to slow down the Longhorns, who
shot 49 percent for the game.

The Bearkats forced the Longhorns into committing 16 of their
season-high 28 turnovers in the second half. But they only
converted those turnovers into 19 points.

Texas converted on 28-of-35 free throws and out-rebounded the
Bearkats 49 to 30.
