Somerville Wins A Thriller
Reporter: KBTX

Seguin -- The Somerville Yeguas beat Refugio 21 - 20 Friday night in Seguin to advance to the Class 2A Division 2 Region 4 final.

Refugio jumped out to a 7 - 0 lead on Garrett Murphy's 60 yard interception return for a touchdown. The Yeguas answered on a D.L Ellis 10 yard touchdown run to tie the game at seven.

Refugio would take a 14 - 7 lead on a Garrett Murphy 16 yard touchdown pass to Bryan Mcgee. Somerville would out score Refugio 14 - 6 the rest of the way. The Bobcats missed a field goal late in the fourth quarter that would have given them the lead.

Somerville will face the winner of Saturday's game between Lexington and Freer.
