LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Louisville Cardinals have clinched at
least a share of the Big East championship with a 48-to-17 win over
Connecticut. The Cardinals, who have won 18 straight home games,
need 15th-ranked West Virginia to beat number-13 Rutgers tonight to
clinch the title outright.

as the sixth-ranked Cardinals upped their record to 11-and-1. The
eleven victories are a school record. U-Conn wraps up a 4-and-8
