Golden Bears Beat Stanford

BERKELEY, Calif. -- Nate Longshore passed for 217 yards and
21st-ranked California survived stubborn Stanford 26-to-17 in the
109th Big Game.
Justin Forsett had 75 yards rushing in the fourth quarter as the
9-and-3 Golden Bears did just enough to beat the 1-and-11 Cardinal
for the fifth straight year.
Tom Schneider kicked four field goals. DeSean Jackson caught
seven passes for 127 yards for Cal, which hasn't lost a Big Game
since coach Jeff Tedford's arrival in 2002.
