Nebraksa Making Most Of Bowl Preperations
Reporter: Associated Press

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska's practices leading up to last
year's Alamo Bowl paid dividends not only in the victory over
Michigan but in the 2006 season.
Coach Bill Callahan says he'll take the same approach in
pre-Cotton Bowl workouts.
The Cornhuskers will spend ample time preparing for tenth-ranked
Auburn, but also keep an eye on 2007.
Callahan says they're going to practice the players as much as
they can to prepare for the New Year's Day game in Dallas.
Number 22 Nebraska returns to practice Saturday, one week after
its 21-to-7 loss to Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship game.
The Huskers will have just over three weeks to practice.
If they are like last year's bowl practices, quarterback Zac
Taylor said, the first few could be extremely physical.
A victory would give the Huskers a ten-win season for the first
time since 2003.
