Pettitte Ready To Play Again
Reporter: Associated Press

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Pitcher Andy Pettitte today decided he'll play next year not retire.
The move is expected to set off negotiations with his hometown
Houston Astros and the New York Yankees.
Agent Randy Hendricks says Pettitte told him he wants to play in
2007 -- and perhaps beyond.
Pettitte played for the Yankees from 1995-03, helping New York
win four World Series and six A-L pennants.
He spent the last three seasons with the Astros, who reached the
World Series for the first time in 2005.
Hendricks will talk with the Yankees and Astros. All other teams
would be long shots.
Hendricks says there's no timetable other than all deliberate
speed.
