Stephen F. Austin Names Nunn Interim Coach

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Arlington Nunn took over today as
interim head coach while the school searches for a successor to
Robert McFarland.
Nunn has coached receivers at Stephen F. Austin the past two
years.
Athletic director Robert Hill says he was appointing Nunn as the
interim coach to maintain continuity in the program.
McFarland resigned Friday to become an assistant at Iowa State.
He finished 9-13 in two seasons at Stephen F. Austin.
Jay Rodgers, who has coached quarterbacks the past two seasons,
also resigned to join the Iowa State staff.
