Gilchrist Tells Coaches in Caldwell He's Leaving And Headed Back To Whitney

Updated: 02/08/2013 - Last week KBTX Sports reported that Caldwell Head Football Coach Kenneth Gilchrist was leaving the Hornets field house after one season and returning to Whitney where he had coached for three seasons before coming to Caldwell, today KBTX Sports learned that Gilchrist told his coaches in Caldwell that he was leaving to return to Whitney.

Updated: 02/01/2013 - The revolving door at Caldwell High School continues to spin. According to Whitney ISD Superintendent Gene Solis, the Wildcats are going to welcome back Kenneth Gilchrist as their next head football coach after the Whitney School Board votes on the matter to make it official February 11th.

Navasota claiming the Class 3A Division II title with a win over Gilmer and Cameron the Class 2A Division I championship after beating Daingerfield.

Heard leads Denton Guyer to its first state title

Posted: 12/22/2012 - Quarterback Jerrod Heard rushed for five touchdowns, including three in the third quarter as Denton Guyer rallied from a 16-point deficit to beat Georgetown 48-37 Saturday in the Class 4A Division I championship game.

NAVASOTA RATTLERS - State Champions!

Updated: 12/21/2012 - The Navasota Rattlers won the school's first state football championship tonight with a 39-3 win over Gilmer in the Class 3A Division II title game at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington Friday night.
