BRYAN, Texas -- The search continues as College Station ISD looks for a new head football coach for A&M Consolidated High School.

KBTX Sports has learned that over the weekend CS-ISD Superintendent Dr. Eddie Coulson offered the Tigers Head Football Coaching vacancy to Navasota Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Lee Fedora.

Tonight Coulson confirmed that Fedora, a Consolidated Alum, had declined to return home. He said, "Lee felt like it was in his best interest to remain at Navasota ISD".

Dr. Coulson said he is continuing discussions with coaches as he looks to replace Jim Slaughter.

Last Friday CS-ISD notified former Consol Offensive Coordinator Steve Huff that he was not going to be included in the follow-up interviews. That leaves defensive coordinator Ray Kavanaugh as the last of the three known finalists that Dr. Coulson identified last week.
