Allen Academy advances in TCAL playoffs

BRYAN, Texas -- Allen Academy broke open a rare six-man football defensive struggle in the second half and beat Mount Carmel Academy 52-6 in the TCAL Six-man Division I playoffs Saturday.

After a scoreless first quarter the Rams found the end zone three times in the second quarter to take a 22-6 lead to the break.

With the victory the Rams will advance to the TCAL Quarterfinals against Waco Live Oak. Live Oak beat Allen Academy 55-22 in the season opener.
