COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Burton ran into the buzz-saw known as number one ranked Tenaha and saw their season end 63-28 in 1A Division II state semifinals.

The Panthers best year ever ends with a 12-3 record.

Tenaha scored the first 21 points of the game before Burton could get on the board. Xavier Bethany threw a pair of touchdown passes to Brandon Green to keep it close, but Tiger quarterback Reginald Davis stole the show and led his team to victory.

Tenaha will face Munday for the state championship Thursday at 4 p.m. at Cowboys Stadium.
