Calvert cruises past Greenville Christian 54-32

CALVERT, TX -- The Calvert Trojans beat Greenville Christian 54-32 Friday night at Wilkerson Field. Calvert is now 2-2 on the season.

The Trojans got the scoring started when Tyron Huffman and Javion Ross hooked up for a 30 yard touchdown. That gave Calvert a 6-0 lead. Greenville Christian answered when Will Martens threw a touchdown pass to John Henderson helping the Eagles take an 8 - 6 lead. Calvert would respond with the some big plays including a 62 yard touchdown run by Bobby Cyrus in the second quarter.

Calvert will return to action September 30 with the host Rose Hill Christian.
