COLLEGE STATION, TX -- The College Station Cougars will try to make it 3 straight wins Friday night at Cougar Field as they host another Woodlands JV team. Kickoff is set for 7pm. The Purple and Black had no problem beating the Caldwell JV last week, but picking up a win over the Woodlands JV will be a challenge that Head Coach Steve Huff says his Cougs are looking forward too.
"I think any time a team from College Station and a team from The Woodlands get together whether it's a rivalry or not it's going to be a pretty hot item for our kids especially," said Huff. "We're playing their number one JV team this week. They've lost one game to Katy so they're sit'n in there about 5 and 1 right now so our kids are looking forward to it."
The Cougars posted their first win in program history beating another Woodlands JV team 46-13 back in September.
