COLLEGE STATION, TX -- Earlier this season the College Station Cougars beat the Woodlands JV White squad for their first win ever, tonight run their current winning streak to 3 with a 33-22 win over the The Woodlands JV (Green) team.
College Station fell behind 10-0 in the second quarter, but get a touchdown courtesy of Travis Tate who recovered a fumble in the end zone to cut The Woodlands JV lead to 10-8.
In the 3rd quarter the Highlanders extend their lead to 16-8 after a quarterback keeper by Lavell Steeple, but the Cougars will answer courtesy of a 5 yard touchdown run by Rajah Preciado to make it 16-14.
The Cougars defense will hold The Woodlands JV to one more score, while its offense scores 19 points and post a 33-22 win.
College Station Cougars have now won 3 in a row for the first time in school history. They'll try to make it four straight next week against Aldine Davis, another start up high School in the Houston area that has a freshman-sophomore varsity football team.
