Excerpt from 2011 KBTX/Taco Bell Friday Football Fever High School Football Preview Magazine to be available at Brazos Valley area Taco Bells beginning August 24th.

BRYAN, TX -- The Mustangs have a large number of returning starters, which could equate to a much improved team this season. They will need the numbers as they move up a classification to TCAL Division I.

Tommy Clement is the workhorse for the Mustang offense. He rolled up 1,230 total yards and 23 touchdowns a year ago. Junior Chad Seely and sophomore Josh Bennett each saw time at quarterback last season and will battle for time as the Mustangs signal caller.

BVCHEA only has three district games on the schedule, and two are in Bryan. The hard earned experience the team gained a year ago should make a difference this time around and the Mustangs should contend for a spot in the playoffs.
