High School Football Previews: Hearne Eagles

Coming off a tough 2010 season the Eagles have a nest full of returning starters that will try to turn things around in 2011.

Seven players who started a year ago are back on both offense and defense. Coach Lymas feels the defense will be one of the strengths of the team this season, and the offense has plenty of room for improvement after getting shut out four times last season.

On paper the Eagles have enough to grab one of the playoff spots out of 12-2A Div. I, but the competition will be very tough against state runner-up Cameron and perennial playoff teams McGregor, Troy, and Marlin.
