BRYAN -- 21 lettermen return to a Brazos Christian team that gained even more valuable post season experience a year ago.

Five starters are back on offense, including four offensive linemen. The experience up front will be needed as the Eagles break in a new quarterback in junior Gentry Gale. Second team all-state receiver Jaxton McNair will provide a great target for Gale, and if Brad Brown settles in as the full-time starter at halfback the offense may not miss a beat.

Brown, a first-team all-state linebacker last season, is one of seven returning starters on defense. The Eagles kept four opponents under ten points last season, and have returning starters on the line, at linebacker, and in the secondary.

The district title should once again come down to the BCS-St. Paul game, but win or lose, expect the Eagles to be playing football deep into November once again.
