Morrow has huge game in Franklin win over Whitney

FRANKLIN, TX -- Franklin running back Chris Morrow put up impressive number in the Lions 70-27 win over Whitney Friday night. Morrow carried the ball 36 times for 433 yards and scored seven touchdowns.

The Lions jumped out to an early lead in the game. Darius Floyd scored on a 11 yard touchdown run on the second offensive play of the game. Whitney was the first team to score on Franklin this season. The first Wildcats score came Dillon Hightower 21 yard touchdown pass to Adam Strawbridge.

Franklin returns to action September 16 when they hit the road to take on New Waverly.
