NAVASOTA, Texas -- Number two Navasota took care of business on a rainy homecoming, keeping Houston Sterling winless on the season with a 49-6 decision.
Kadarius Baker threw four touchdowns in the first half, spreading touchdown passes to Terrance Creeks, Solomon McGinty, Demarcus Lee, and Austin Collins, as the Rattlers ran out to a 28-0 halftime lead.
The Rattlers improve to 3-0 on the season and will host Lexington Friday. The Eagles, ranked number seven in 2A, picked up a 28-7 win at Franklin.
Coldspring knocked off number one La Marque Friday, so Navasota should be the number one ranked team in 3A when the poll comes out Monday.
