No. 9 Burton beats Granger 33-20

BURTON, Texas -- Burton scored twice on on long touchdown runs early in the third quarter to pull away from Granger and stay unbeaten in 13-1A Division II play.

Tanner Demuth broke free on a 66-yarder to give the Panthers a 27-13 lead on the second play from scrimmage in the third quarter. After a stop, Juwan Mathis went 58-yards to put the game out of reach.

Burton improves to 6-1, 2-0 in district play. The Panthers visit Bartlett Friday. Granger is 3-4, 0-1 and will host Milano.
