ARLINGTON, TX -- Marquis Jackson returned the opening kick 96 yards for a touchdown as the North All-Stars went on to dominate the South 38-14 in the Texas High School Coaches Association All-Star Football Game.
The North scored the game's first 17 points at Cowboys Stadium
in Arlington Tuesday night, starting with Fort Worth Arlington
Heights star's kickoff return.
Jackson, who has signed to play wide receiver at Kansas, was
selected the offensive most valuable player with three receptions
for 60 yards.
Aledo defensive back Rylan Riney was the defensive MVP. He
capped the North's scoring with a 20-yard interception return for a
touchdown midway through the fourth quarter.
Mykkele Thompson, a University of Texas recruit from Stevens
High School, accounted for both South touchdowns.
