Rangers home Friday night for game and fundraiser dinner

BRYAN, TX -- The Rudder Ranger football team will be in action Friday night when they take on C.E. King at Merrill Green Stadium. Kick-off is set for 7:30pm.

The Rangers are looking to bounce back from a loss to Navasota last Friday night. Rudder is 2-1 on the season. C.E. King in 1-1 on the season.

Before the game there will be a benefit dinner for Rudder defensive lineman David Wilganowski. He collapsed on the field during a game on September 2 at Merrill Green Stadium. Wilganowski is out the hospital after being treated at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan, Texas Children's Hospital in Houston and Scott & White Hospital in Temple. The dinner will be held from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at the Bryan High School silver campus cafeteria. A plate will include a hamburger or a pulled pork sandwich along with chips and a drink. The cost is $7.00. The money raised at the event will go to to help defray his medical expenses.
