SHENANDOAH, TX -- The Navasota Rattlers beat Huffman Hargrave 44-3 Friday Night at Woodforest Bank Stadium in a Class 3A Division I
Regional playoff game.
The Rattlers scored on their first offensive series when Jacob Malek took a pitch from Kadarius Baker and scampered 20 yards for a touchdown. Xavier Creeks would extend the lead to 14 - 0 on a one yard touchdown run.
Huffman Hargrave got their only points of the game on a Cannon Cotter 43 field goal in the second quarter.
Navasota will now face Chapel Hill in the state quartefinals. That game will be played Friday, November 25 at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco. Kick-off is set for 7:00pm. Chapel Hill beat Waco La Vega 27-20 Friday night at Bowers Stadium in Huntsville.
