Rudder returns home Friday night to host Bastrop

BRYAN, TX -- The Rudder football team will host Bastrop Friday night at Merrill Green Stadium in a district 16-4A match-up. The homecoming contest is scheduled to kick-off at 7:30pm.

Rudder will try to snap a three game losing streak. The Rangers dropped their district opener last week to Hutto 40-14. Rudder came up short against C.E.King 22-16 in triple overtime in their last home game on September 16.

Bastrop enters the contest 2-1 on the season. This will be the Bears district opener.
