Seven Brenham athletes headed to D1 schools

BRENHAM, Texas -- Brenham continues to produce Division 1 athletes. Seven Cubs are signing letters of intent this year with linebacker Brandon Alexander headlining the class and picking the Aggies over Texas.

John Paleman is headed to Rice. Desmond Mathis will become a UTSA Road Runner.

Rodney Hubert signs with SMU.

Christian McBride will take his skills to to Northwestern Missouri State.

Derrick Edwards graduated early and is already on the Texas Tech campus.

And one of the top track athletes in the state distance runner Will Antkowiak is headed to Austin to run with the Horns.
