SOMERVILLE, TX -- The Snook Bluejays picked the perfect time to win its first game of the season posting a 33-0 win over Somerville to claim the inaugural "Baker Highway Bowl".
Snook got first half rushing touchdowns from Robert Lewis, Austin Jackson and Deon Hamilton along with a TD pass from Lewis to Jackson with 3 seconds left to post a 26-0 first half lead.Snook went onto win it 33-0.
Snook will try to make it two in a row next week as they travel to Burton. Somerville will look to rebound next week as they travel to Granger.
While Somerville lost its homecoming game, the Yeguas did crown Braylyn Minor as its homecoming queen while Audious Jerkins was crowned king.
