St. Joseph Prevails In District Opener 50-22

BRYAN, TX -- Thursday night the St. Joseph Catholic School Eagles finally open up district play and are looking to snap a six game losing streak in their league lid-lifter against the Giddings State School Indians.

The visitors have a six nothing lead when the Eagles' Luke McClure finds Justin Knight wide open on a 46 yard completion. It goes for a touchdown to tie the game at t.

In the second quarter Nicky Damon breaks loose on a 55 yard touchdown run to put the Eagles up for good.

They pick up their first win of the year 50-22 and open up district play in style.

St. Joseph will try to make it two in a row next week as they travel to Austin to take on the Austin Regents.
