Tigers Travel To Austin Friday Night To Face Westlake

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- The A&M Consolidated Tigers (0-2) will head to Austin on Friday evening to close out the non-district portion of its schedule and hoping to enter its off week with a win over the Westlake Chaparrals (1-1).

The Tigers are coming off a 27-21 loss to Cy Woods last week, their second of the year. Austin Westlake picked up its first win of the season last Friday beating Abilene Cooper 47-33.

Now in response to the growing need presented by the fires around the Austin area members of the Westlake High School Student Council will be at both the home gate and the visitor's gate, from 6:30-8:30, collecting gift cards, and cash to purchase gift cards, for the students and families impacted in the Bastrop ISD community.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 at Chaparral Stadium in Austin.
