BRYAN, TX -- Bryan High defensive back Joseph Bryant signed his national letter of intent Wednesday morning with the University of Utah. Bryant said it was the right choice. "It was just Utah and SMU, my main choices but I picked Utah right off the bat because it just felt right."
Bryant recorded 81 total tackles for the Vikings last season. He also forced two fumbles, had six pass break-ups and one interception. Bryan was a first team all district selection.
Utah's current roster has several players from Texas on it including Terrell Reese and Michael Walker who both played at Brenham High School.
