HOUSTON -- The Houston Texans today put center Steve McKinney and defensive tackle Cedric Killings on injured reserve -- ending their seasons.
Houston signed David Anderson and Joel Dreessen.
Killings remains hospitalized as he recovers from a fracture of
his C-4 vertebra from a headfirst collision with Indianapolis
receiver Roy Hall on Sunday.
McKinney tore his left anterior cruciate ligament against the
Colts.
The Texans signed Anderson and Dreessen to add depth at receiver
-- with Andre Johnson and rookie Jacoby Jones out with injuries.
Jones is expected to miss up to three weeks with a separated
shoulder. Johnson is out indefinitely with a knee sprain.
Anderson was released August 31st. He appeared in nine games
last season with one reception for 27 yards.
Dreessen was released September 14th when the Texans re-signed
Killings.
