“We had a good week of practice to work on the specifics of each player’s game,” Texas A&M head coach Steve Denton said. “Everyone has played hard and we had the advantage of playing at the Baylor Invitational last weekend to prepare us for the All-American. I feel good about where everyone is at and that we have a solid tournament under our belt. There’s a lot of really good players in this tournament and it’s the luck of the draw who you will play against. Overall, we are excited to go out and compete.”

The Polo Ralph Lauren All-American field includes 46 participants and 23 doubles pairs in the main draw and 110 participants and 63 doubles pairs in the qualifying draw. The tournament serves as a fall season preview of the 2008 NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship which will also be played at Tulsa’s Michael D. Case Tennis Center on May 15-26.

Notable past participants include current professional stars such as recent 2007 U.S. Open participants James Blake, John Isner and the world’s top-ranked doubles team of Bob and Mike Bryan.
