SEATTLE (AP) - Felix Hernandez of Seattle finished the season
strong, holding Texas to four hits in eight and two-thirds, as the
Mariners beat Texas 4-2. Hernandez finishes the season with a
record of 14-and-7.
Seattle finished the season with 88 wins and 74 defeats, a
10-game improvement over last season.
The Rangers wrapped up the season 75-and-87.
